We enjoyed seeing the children engaged with the movie “Encanto” and racing the obstical course. Many kids made multiple trips to the craft table for fun Valentine’s Arts & Crafts. They participated in an epic Nerf gun battle accompanied by a few rounds of Man Hunt and Red light Green light. After hours of games, the families enjoyed delicious pizza with a variety of soft drink choices. All this happened, thanks to the seniors and Mrs. Newell. We hope to see you there next Valentine!
Here’s what Jacob says about the event:
I enjoyed spending time with the seniors.
Many of the students that attended Pursuit Camp returned with lots of fun stories to tell. Some of their favorite activities include:
The seniors are hosting a Valentine’s Day Party that is open to all ages. We would love for you to be there. The event will include:
Located at CBCS field and gym
Cost $10.00 per person
3 year old and younger children need to be supervised the entire time by a parent
Jeremy Johnson, aka, the most helpful freshman. He tutors his classmates with anything that they may need help with from math to basketball. He is also an assistant coach for junior varsity and varsity sports. His perfect principals honor roll proves that he is the real deal. Jeremy loves to learn and help others in his free time. Can you say ‘role model who sets the standard’ for a Lion at CBCS?!?!
The Junior-Senior Banquet is always a fun end-of-the-year event. The Sugar Factory/Disney Springs was the venue. This day was devoted to just spending time together . . . amazing!
The class of 2023 recently visited Animal Kingdom. Some of the rides they went to include Mount Everest, The Pandora, several water rides, and many more. Lunch was enjoyed at a burger place. The class is excited for the sophomores who take biology next year, because they had a great time. Chick-fil-A was the final stop . . . to end the night on a good note.
Goodbye school, and hello to Summer! Thank you to everyone who has read our posts this year. We leave you with this Bible verse as we head off into summer break:
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.”
-Psalm 84:11
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.
